Guidelines, Oral Presentation
Language: (formal) English
Presentation: a PowerPoint presentation
Hand in your presentation: you have to hand in your presentation on a CD-ROM or USB stick at the registration desk before 9.00h on the day on which you present, preferably during the registration days.
Structure of presentation: we advise to include the following topics in your presentation:
Title
Introduction/Background
Research question and hypotheses
Materials and methods
Results
Conclusions
Discussion
Presentation time: the maximum presentation time is 8 minutes. Please make sure your presentation is no longer than this, for the chairperson is allowed to interrupt you. Two minutes are reserved for questions and discussion after your presentation.
Dress code: formal
Guidelines, Poster Presentation
Language: The language of the poster, as well as the presentation of the poster will be English.
Size: the maximum poster size is A0 format (840x1188 mm) - portrait
Hand in your poster: you have to hand in your poster before 9.00h Saturday, March 19th 2011.
Structure of poster: we advise to include the following topics in your presentation:

Presentation time: the
maximum presentation time of your poster
is 4 minutes. Please make sure your presentation is no longer than this, since the jury is allowed to
interrupt you. In the program,
you can find when a member of the jury will evaluate your poster.
