Prizes and awards
We offer prizes to the most outstanding research presentations given during LIMSC. A total of €2250 will be divided between both oral and poster presentation winners. Are you going to win these prizes in addition to the glory of being an active participant at LIMSC 2023?
Oral presentations
The three best rated oral presentations will get the opportunity to present their research once again in front of the entire LIMSC audience during the finale on Saturday. A jury of experts will then decide on the first, second and third place.
- First prize: €1000 and a one-year online subscription to The New England Journal of Medicine
- Second prize: €500 and a one-year online subscription to The New England Journal of Medicine
- Third prize: €250 and a one-year online subscription to The New England Journal of Medicine
There are more prizes and acknowledgements to earn as a presenter of an oral presentation. Each session of oral presentations will have its own winner decided by the jury, who will receive an official acknowledgement of their achievement.
Poster presentations
The three highest rated poster presentations will be rewarded during the finale on Saturday. The following prizes will be awarded:
- First prize: €250 and a one-year online subscription to The New England Journal of Medicine
- Second prize: €150 and a one-year online subscription to The New England Journal of Medicine
- Third prize: €100 and a one-year online subscription to The New England Journal of Medicine
Research Theme Prizes
The best graded presenter of both oral and poster presentations within each of the 12 research themes will be awarded a Research Theme Prize during the Finale on Saturday. A unique award will be received by the winner of each specific research theme. With these awards, talentful students are honoured for their efforts for their field of interest.
