Boerhaave museum tour

13.00 - 15.00

Our tour will take us through the Golden age, during which the trade, science and art in the Netherlands were on a peak. Through the Dutch fight against sickness, the rising water that could flood our land and the big questions of science. The museum has an amazing collection of the old microscope invented by Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, an dialysis machine of 1943 and so much more. So, come and take a tour with us through the old scientific discoveries and be inspired by them!

You can choose to take a tour from 13.00 - 14.00 or from 14.00 - 15.00. Afterwards you can stay in the museum if you like or you can walk back to the LUMC for the Ceremonial Opening with us.

Please note:
Seperate registration for this activity is required. There are limited spaces and they are assigned on a first-come-first serve basis. For fees, please refer to this page. Furthermore, this activity is parallel to the Leiden scavenger hunt.
