The Leiden International Medical Student Conference (LIMSC) is organised by a passionate team of medical, biomedical, and technical medicine students from the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). With great dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm, the organising committee arranges guest speakers, workshops, and social activities to create one of the largest biennial (bio)medical student conferences.

Head Crew

The Head Crew consists of enthusiastic (bio)medical students who support the Organizing Committee throughout the conference. A major event like LIMSC couldn't happen without their assistance. During the conference, they handle all logistics and ensure that every participant has a fantastic experience at LIMSC!

  • Advisory Committee

    While LIMSC is organised by students, they are not alone in this journey. Renowned LUMC professors from various specialities comprise the Advisory Committee, guiding the Organizing Committee with their expertise and experience. These dedicated professors help ensure the congress is of the highest quality. Beyond providing guidance, they serve as Ambassadors of LIMSC, leveraging their extensive networks to actively promote the conference.

  • Scientific Committee

    The Scientific Committee comprises a distinguished group of professors, clinicians, and researchers. They assist the Organizing Committee in ensuring that research evaluations are conducted fairly and rigorously. Abstracts aligned with the research themes of Leiden University Medical Center are meticulously evaluated by these experts in their respective fields.

  • Committee of Recommendation

    The Committee of Recommendation is here to support our congress, underscoring the significance of our mission. This group of eminent individuals shares our belief that student conferences are vital to foster new ideas, encourage collaboration, and nurture the next generation of scientists.
