The scientific program of the conference spans three full days: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, offering a wide range of inspirational opportunities. You will be captivated by a groundbreaking symposium on AI, enlightened by renowned guest speakers, and engaged in a diverse array of stimulating workshops. Additionally, you will have the chance to hear compelling research presentations by fellow students. Additionally, the scientific program provides excellent networking opportunities, including a tour of the Leiden Bio Science Park, visits to various LUMC departments, and a Career & Internship Fair.

Throughout all three days, there will be a variety of inspiring workshop sessions. You can choose from practical workshops where you can hone your skills in laparoscopy, suturing, and laboratory techniques, or attend informative workshops on creating a CV, developing treatment plans, and much more. The Career & Internship (C&I) Fair will take place during the lunch break on Friday. This event will feature renowned biomedical, pharmaceutical, and medical technology companies, eager to share insights about their cutting-edge research and the exciting job and internship opportunities they offer.

This is an incredible opportunity for you to connect with established industry leaders, explore potential career paths, and network with professionals in your field of interest. Representatives from these companies will be available to answer your questions, provide guidance on career development, and offer valuable advice on how to succeed in the biomedical and pharmaceutical industries.

Whether you are looking to gain practical experience through internships or seeking information on potential job prospects after graduation, the C&I Fair is the perfect platform to discover opportunities and make meaningful connections that could shape your future career.

Oral sessions and poster presentations are scheduled for Friday and Saturday of the conference. Among the submitted research, selected students will have the privilege to present their findings. This presents a unique opportunity for both researchers to showcase their work and attendees to draw inspiration from their peers while gaining deeper insights into the research field.

The LIMSC Festival is a beloved tradition of each LIMSC edition. Held at the renowned Rijksmuseum van Oudheden (National Museum of Antiquities), this evening centres around getting acquainted with Dutch culture through different workshops and activities. The evening promises fun, learning, and cultural exploration!

At the black-tie dinner, we will elevate the evening with an exquisite dining experience in Leiden. This elegant event offers a unique opportunity to interact with fellow participants and esteemed guest speakers. Enjoy a night of fine dining and sophisticated conversation!

An unforgettable evening filled with music, dancing, and celebration as we wrap up the conference in style!

After four remarkable days at LIMSC, we'll conclude this unforgettable week with an exciting post-conference tour on Sunday. Join us as we journey to the vibrant capital city of Amsterdam together. The day will start off with a tour on the pancake boat, in which you can get a taste of the Dutch pannenkoeken. Afterwards, you'll have free time to explore Amsterdam at your leisure. Whether you choose to stroll through its charming streets, marvel at its stunning architecture, shop for authentic Dutch souvenirs, or simply soak in the cosy atmosphere at one of Amsterdam's many cafes, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Finally, we'll return to Leiden together by bus, officially bidding farewell and bringing LIMSC 2025 to a memorable close.
